go do something fun outside then you will realize that whatever you are doing is so much more real and fun than being inside your house glued to a fake game on a screen that gives you a headache:)

Video games are literally addicting. Its been proven in studies. If you want to quit. I suggest getting into sports. They will get active and you will meet new people that you could possible become friends with.

when you venture out to try something else, give it many chances, it won’t immediately reward you.

do not stop playing but limit your self to a few hours a day… say 2 maybe
also go out at night with friends or to house parties. get to know people, play a sport maybe

Games are cool. Games are addictive — I know it first hand, and that’s not bad. It’s like being addicted to a job for which you don’t get paid.
Fact is, find something that’s a lot more interesting than computer games – like outdoor sports, collaborative activities, even extreme sports (if that’s your style). Anything in which you can share your love for games and sports with a team, should help you keep engrossed constructively and increase your social skills as well.
Good luck! Stay cool.

Sounds like you need more than just a “go do other stuff” answer, huh? What is the one thing you enjoy doing next to computer games? Think hard. Ok, now go do that. Just for 5 mins. And resolve to do that 5 mins of every hour the first day. Then 10 mins the next day, etc.
If gradual change doesn’t work for you, go cold turkey.
If that doesn’t work either, tell your parents about your addiction and ask them to put their foot (feet) down.
Go to your pastor and ask for help.
Read a book.
Hmmmm…. beyond these suggestions, I guess I would have to be there to help any further.
