    those games might not be for vista..that is if you have vista.
    if you have xp..just uninstall directx and re install it, make sure your games are uninstalled too. once you re-install direct x, install hello kitty island adventures or what ever it is you like to play.

    sometime it depend on your operating system, lot of old game will not
    play with vista.
