Find out exactly what you supposedly need to run the game you want, and just google it, and download it free. So what if you already think you have it. There might be something wrong. Just download what you need. Google “program name 1.1 free download” never fails.

Also, something may be wrong with your utilities somewhere if you’ve not had this problem in the past. Go over your settings. Start in the Tools menu of Internet Explorer, there’s a list of things to check on, Java Console, etc, and finally, Internet Options. Make sure there’s no obvious problem there with things you want to run.

Also, check on all of your blockers – pop-up blockers, and firewalls, and site restrictions. If you have a really good spyware control program, run it. At the end it will reset everything just as it should be. I’ve had very odd problems in the past even being restricted from Yahoo messenger, and strangely the spyware program fixed it – because it keeps all your setting where they should be. And it lets you allow programs – sort of getting the chance to “switch on” what might have gotten “switched off” accidentally.

    Good luck.
